I thought that Venya Son's work was a good example of bright work, that utilises texture and pattern to stop the colours being too flat.
I think the patterns work particularly well, and would look really good with my new way of painting and using collage.
I'm excited to try and use some of these techniques during my Hallmark placement and see where that takes me.
