OUIL402 - Studio Brief 1 - Kristyna Beckzinski

Kristyna's work inspires me to use more line and mark making to create texture. She overlays the the marks (Either digitally and hand made) onto block colour, which adds a nice contrast of colour. In the above images she uses these marks to represent the fur on the animals. Also you can see in the above image, especially in the last character, how she plays around with perspective, as you wouldn't normally be able to see all of the facial features from that angle, but playing around and making it not completely realistic adds something to the image and makes it more interesting.

In the above image I like how she creates a frame using a repearing pattern of small images. She takes the colour scheme from the main image and uses this to create a pattern, it creates a definite line of sight which draws your focus all the way round the image.
